(Summary description)BUG is simply an acronym coined by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Dark Sky Association to better explain how light trespass can be measured. The BUG rating of a luminaire determines how much light trespass that a light fixture produces. The BUG rating replaced the old measuring system known as the “cutoff system” around 2005 and is more comprehensive, taking Backlight, Uplight, and Glare into account (the B, U, and G, of BUG).

Information

We all know that growing cannabis is a complicated process. Growers need to take good care of cannabis and monitor the growth of cannabis on a daily basis. Today we would like to share some factors that may affect the healthy growth of cannabis, so that growers can detect problems in time and solve them as soon as possible in their daily life.

1. Moisture in the soil

We all know the importance of water to plants. One thing that can easily happen when planting is overwatering. When the soil is too wet, plants are at risk for root rot and other diseases. It is also not conducive to plant growth when the soil is too dry. Therefore, the moisture content of the soil must be appropriate.

2. The color of the leaves

Cannabis plants display different colors at different stages of growth, from light green to dark purple, and even red or orange. Regardless of color, the leaves should always be consistent. But we need to pay attention to whether there are spots on the leaves. Because causing spots to appear is an indicator of water/pH problems, nutrient deficiencies, insect infestations, or other problems. For example, scorched or charred leaf edges can appear if too much nutrients are given to the plant or if the nutrient solution itself is splashed on the leaves.

3. The condition of the blades

In healthy condition, the leaves are inclined upward. Like sunflowers lit by the sun. If the blade is in an unhealthy state, it will feel heavy and bow down. This is usually the case with overwatering.

These factors are just some references. We still recommend that growers keep a record of the conditions of their plants in their lives so that they can quickly remove obstacles and help the plants recover quickly.
