On February 14, 2020, the official V5.0 and V5.1 versions of DLC were released.

DLC V5.1
1, Request the product better color display level by better color consistency and color quality requirements;

2. For high-grade certification products, better lighting performance and recognition requirements are provided;

3. All products are required to have dimming function, and further improve energy saving and user safety performance.

DLC 5.0
1. Improve the lighting effect of lighting products, and there is no requirement on lighting color quality of products

2. Most indoor lamps and replacements are required to have dimming function

On February 18, 2020, product applications for V5.0 will be accepted, while applications for V4.4 and product upgrades from V4.4 to V5.0&V5.1 will still be accepted

On March 30, 2020, products that meet the V5.0 lighting and dimming requirements were automatically upgraded to the new QPL without any action by the manufacturer

From 1 June 2020, we will stop accepting applications for V4.4 products

From July 1, 2020, applications for V5.1 products will be accepted, while applications for V5.0 and product upgrades from V4.4 to V5.0&V5.1 will still be accepted

From November 1, 2020, only applications for V5.1 products will be accepted, and applications for V5.0 and upgrading from V4.4 to V5.0&V5.1 products will not be accepted

By December 31, 2020, all products must comply with V5.0 lighting and dimming requirements, otherwise will be removed from QPL

By December 31, 2021, all products must meet the requirements of V5.1, otherwise they will be removed from the QPL
